MEET THE OWNERS
Hello there! My name is Johnny Youssef. I am a Real Estate Investor, Renovator, and Designer. My passion is to turn buildings into homes and provide incredible hosting experiences. I invest in properties that are deemed hopeless and bring them back to life! Making ugly properties turn into money makers, people gatherers, and pieces of art! I have been involved in hundreds of real estate transactions and I specialize in rehabbing homes to flip and sell, rent out, or turn into nightly rentals (Airbnb). I am passionate about sharing what I learned and seeing more people restoring hopeless homes! It's a win/win for everyone, you, the house, the neighborhood, and those who live in it!

I was born in Cairo, Egypt and I moved to Richmond, Virginia at the age of 15; I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BS in Mass Communications with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism. In 2022, I married the love of my life, Abby! She has an incredible eye for design and I was excited to have her partner with me in designing this next project: A 115-year-old church!

Besides real estate, I have a passion for storytelling, public speaking, and creating content. My primary topics of interest are related to entrepreneurship, faith, and culture.
Throughout the years, I have taken on a lot of roles including being a young adult pastor, television news editor, real estate agent, investor, renovator, landlord, wedding emcee, event planner, and more.

With over 24,000 square feet of interior space, Melrose Abbey is a one-of-a-kind event space in Kansas City. Fall in love with it's rich historic design and interior that has been reimagined with influence from the building's past while incorporating modern-day design.

Melrose Abbey features a large main event space with 30-foot ceilings that houses the original massive stained glass windows, allowing natural light to pour into the venue creating an illuminating glow. The ceiling contains a stunning 12-foot chandelier as the main centerpiece. The reception space offers high end lighting, historic charm, & a state-of-the-art custom bar.

Our timeless venue is fully equipped and offers accommodations for overnight stays with stunning hotel suites that are exclusively reserved for the wedding party and guests. This allows us to not only spoil you on the day of the event, but provide a beautiful nights sleep afterwards in fully equipped suites featuring high end furnishings, living rooms, & kitchens.

The venue has the ability to accommodate both intimate and grand events of up to 200 guests. We welcome weddings, corporate gatherings, banquets, celebrations, non-profit fundraisers, and more.
